Quotes
How do I get a quote or request crane service?+
Start with Request a Lift Quote on this website, or call 856-298-1903 / email office@steedlecrane.com. Include jobsite address, load weight and dimensions if you have them, preferred dates, and any site constraints (tight streets, overhead lines, roof height, or limited outrigger space). Ask about a free site check when photos are not enough. A preferred date is a request until our office confirms the schedule. Submitting a request does not confirm a booking.
Do I need the exact weight before I call?+
No. An estimate is enough to start. If we need an exact weight, we’ll work that out with you before lift day.
Are your operators NCCCO certified?+
Yes. All of our crane operators are NCCCO certified — the nationally accredited certification for crane operators.
What crane and equipment do you operate?+
Our business is lifting — and we do all and everything involved with it. Truck crane fleet for any size project; we confirm truck-crane capacity by radius and site access. Specialty jobs may use rooftop movers or aluminum gantry equipment on site when a truck crane alone is not the right fit. We also pick up and receive from distributors, store equipment, and manage logistics so projects of any size flow smoothly.
Do you handle HVAC rooftop sets and disposal?+
Yes. Lifting for rooftop units and other HVAC equipment — RTUs, condensers, compressors, fans, and coils — with pickup, hauling, storage, setting, and removal available. Call 856-298-1903 to discuss unit weight, roof access, street setup, and schedule.
Can you lift generators and industrial equipment?+
Yes. Generator placement and removal, compressors, cooling towers, tanks, containers, and machine moving are common jobs. Share weight, dimensions, and site access so we can confirm the right approach.
Do you handle steel, tanks, and cooling towers?+
Yes. Steel and structural pieces, tanks and vessels, cooling towers, and similar commercial or industrial loads are common lift types. Capacity depends on radius and site conditions — call to review load weight, reach, and which truck crane fits the job.
What is Pro-Lift used for?+
On some rooftop jobs, a battery-operated rooftop mover helps roll HVAC units across the roof after the crane sets them — useful when the final pad is away from the drop point. Ask when you call if your job needs that kind of on-roof move.
Can you help with residential HVAC or specialty home lifts?+
Yes. Residential rooftop HVAC, spa and equipment sets, framing packages, and other home-site lifts are part of our work when access and capacity allow. Share photos and measurements when you request a quote.
Scheduling
Is my preferred date booked when I submit a request?+
No. Your preferred date remains a request until our office reviews the job and confirms that your lift is scheduled. We will contact you after we receive your request — call 856-298-1903 if you need to talk sooner.
What are office hours vs when you can run a crane?+
Dispatch is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. We run crane lifts day or night when the job calls for it. For after-hours or emergency lifts, call 856-298-1903.
What is it like to work with Steedle Crane?+
We’re easy to schedule and easy to deal with. We listen, communicate clearly and work through the details with you. We want to maintain lasting working relationships and provide good service so you can please your customers.
Do you work with HVAC contractors and general contractors?+
Yes. We regularly support HVAC shops, GCs, property managers, industrial facilities, and specialty trades who need dependable crane and rigging support across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northern Maryland.
Preparation
What should I have ready before you arrive?+
Confirm load weight and dimensions, clear a safe setup area for outriggers, note overhead hazards, and share any building or HOA access rules. Photos of the site and roof help us plan the lift before we roll. Print our lift enquiry checklist to gather location, equipment, photos, access, and timing across your team — incomplete details are welcome.
How do you approach jobsite safety?+
Safety is a core focus on every lift. We plan around load, radius, ground conditions, and site access, and we communicate clearly with your crew before the boom goes up. Ask us about your specific site when you call.
Pickup/storage
Do you handle pickup, storage, and logistics?+
Yes. Lifting includes everything involved with it — we pick up and receive from distributors, offer indoor and outdoor storage space at the yard (heated warehouse plus outdoor yard storage), and manage logistics so projects of any size flow smoothly from delivery to set.
Do you pick up from distributors?+
Yes. We pick up and receive from local distributors and can haul everything together so lift day goes smoother.
Where is your yard and warehouse?+
1152 Crown Point Road, West Deptford, NJ 08093 — a 10,000 sq. ft. heated warehouse on three acres at the crossing of Route 295 (exit 23) and Route 130, with covered dock-height and ground-level loading.
Payments
What forms of payment do you accept?+
We accept cash, check, credit card and ACH. Payment links are available through our office. Call 856-298-1903 or email office@steedlecrane.com with your invoice number.
