Our business is lifting — and we do all and everything involved with it.
Our family’s business history began in 1918, when George D. Steedle started Steedle Express. Christopher carries that family tradition forward today through Steedle Crane and Rigging. Our business is lifting — and we do all and everything involved with it — pickup, hauling, storage, rigging and crane work — serving New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and northern Maryland from West Deptford, South Jersey.
We work through the pickup, storage, hauling and lifting details so the different parts of your job fit together. Our work includes rooftop units, compressors, fans, coils and other HVAC equipment, from individual lifts to projects involving multiple units. Small or huge, straightforward or complicated—we’ll work through the job with you.
Lifting includes logistics. We pick up and receive from distributors, offer indoor and outdoor storage space at the yard, and manage the flow so projects of any size move smoothly from delivery to set.
We’re easy to schedule and easy to deal with. We value lasting working relationships and keep communication straightforward. We accept cash, check, credit card and ACH. Payment links are available through our office.

Our facility
Our three-acre West Deptford property includes a 10,000-square-foot heated warehouse, outdoor storage and a covered loading dock. We can receive and hold equipment before lift day.
The warehouse was built in 1995 at the crossing of Route 295 (exit 23) and Route 130. The building is concrete block and steel, insulated and heated, with a live central-station fire and burglar alarm. A 65′ × 20′ outside covered loading dock supports dock-height and ground-level truck loading.
